If you are a citizen of Nigeria, you will need to apply for a visa to enter and stay in Denmark.

Visa applications must be submitted toVFS Globalin Abuja and Lagos. Your application will be sent toEmbassy of Denmark in Abuja.

The embassy processes visa applications within 15 days. This can be extended to 45 days if further processing is required. You must register well in advance. You can register up to 6 months before the trip.

Step 5 – Visit the visa application center

You must submit your visa application in person to VFS Global. It is important to follow the guidelines on the day of the consultation to ensure a successful visit:

  3. If you have not paid the visa fee online, you can pay it once you arrive at the centre.

Step 7 – Get your passport

When the decision is returned from the embassy to VFS Global, you will receive an email and will be able to pick up your documents at the visa application center. You can also choose to have your passport returned to you by post. This service costs an additional N4,500.

Refused -in this case, you will receive a rejection letter with your passport explaining the reason for the rejection. The letter also contains information on how to appeal the decision.

Reasons for rejected orderinclude:

  2. Passport issued more than 10 years ago – Your passport must have been issued within the last 10 years. If not, you must obtain a new one before applying for a visa.
