Welcome to June! Can you believe we're almost halfway through the year?
EmJune 2023we have a chance to repair some of the 'damage' from the tense fixed Grand Cross we had in the last week of May.
In June we have 2 main aspects:Jupiter is conjunct the North Node, eJupiter is also sextile Saturn. These are 2 incredibly supportive aspects that can lead us on a path of growth and discovery.
With Jupiter conjunct the North Node of purpose, there is a strong pull to walk the path of our purpose. The North Node will attract us, take us into the unknown. We want to experience something deeper, something more meaningful.
Like the Rabbit alchemist, we feel the call to adventure.
And Jupiter sextile Saturn? A sextile is a supportive aspect – but unlike a trine, which brings things effortlessly (sometimes so easily that we don't even notice and miss the boat), sextiles are opportunities that we consciously create.
With Jupiter conjunct the North Node and sextile Saturn, opportunities will abound – but it's up to us to say YES to the call.
Let's look at the most important transits of the month:
June 1, 2023 – Jupiter conjunct the North Node in Taurus
On June 1, 2023Jupiter is conjunct the North Node at 3° Taurus, opening new doors of opportunity for us. This is a unique opportunity to embark on a new journey!
Jupiter and the North Node have a lot in common. Both energies are focused on growth and the future. Jupiter wants to find a higher meaning, and the North Node is our true purpose in life. When Jupiter and the North Node meet, opportunity meets readiness.
Jupiter and the North Node are in conjunction once every 12 years, but not in the same sign. Therefore, most of us experience 1 or at most 2 Jupiter conjunct North Nodes transiting the same sign in our lifetime.
This time, Jupiter and the North Node will highlight the Taurus sector of your life, bringing a unique set of opportunities that cannot be missed.
June 4, 2023 – Full Moon in Sagittarius
On June 4, 2023, we have aFull Moon at 13° Sagittarius. The Full Moon is trine Mars in Leo and square Saturn in Pisces.
What happens when we have a tense aspect (square) and a harmonic aspect (trine)? Are these aspects mutually exclusive?
Aspects are never canceled - they are built up. So when we have a tense aspect and a harmonic aspect, the tense aspect is “trigger", and the harmonic aspect is "ally”.
In this case, our trigger is the Full Moon square Saturn. Something Saturnian (for example, our check-in is late, the washing machine breaks down, we have a conflict with a family member) draws our conscious attention to something.
Once we know what the problem is (square Saturn), then we bring in our ally (Mars in Leo) to help us solve the problem. The Mars trine suggests that the best approach for the Full Moon is to take bold action (Leo) (Mars).
At the Full Moon in Sagittarius, we want to remain firm and act despite frustrations, delays and obstacles. Exactly what requires your attention depends on which house in your natal chart this lunation shines.
June 5, 2023 - Venus enters Leo
Ladies and gentlemen, may I have your undivided attention? Lights, camera, action, drums... cheers... 06/05/2023Venus enters Leo!!!
This transit of Venus in Leo is even more important than the normal transit of Venus in Leo, because Venus will go retrograde in the sign at the end of July.
This means that we will have a record 4 months of Venus in Leo this year. If you didn't know what Venus in Leo was, you will certainly find out in the coming months.
The sick expression of Venus in Leo is arrogance and a sense of drama. The positive expression of Venus in Leo is emotional honesty. Your feelings, wishes and desires are just as important as anyone else's.
June 11, 2023 - Pluto re-enters Capricorn
On June 11, 2023Pluto re-enters Capricorn.
We've all experienced Pluto in Aquarius in recent months. But big changes like Pluto's sign change take a long time, so there's always some back-and-forth that integrates the change.
Pluto will spend 7 months in Capricorn (will re-enter Aquarius in January 2024). The months ahead are a good time to reflect on the "Pluto in Capricorn" chapter of our lives, to tie up loose ends and think about what we want to do differently in the next 20 years of our lives.
June 11, 2023 – Mercury enters Gemini
On June 11, 2023Mercury enters Gemini. Mercury spent a lot of time in Taurus! Now we are all ready for something new and something new that has been given to us: Mercury in Gemini is playful, bubbly and likes to crack the occasional joke.
Gemini is Mercury's house sign - this means that Mercury in Gemini is a natural with all things "Mercury". Regardless of your communication style, when Mercury is in Gemini, your communication becomes clearer, more eloquent, and clearer.
Mercury in Gemini is an excellent transit for connecting with others, researching, writing or exchanging ideas.
June 17, 2023 - Saturn goes retrograde
On June 17, 2023Saturn is retrograde at 7° Pisces. This is the first time that Saturn is retrograde in Pisces, so you should pay attention to what themes are going on in the season.
Changes in planetary direction are very important: when a planet is stationed direct or retrograde, it spends a normal amount of time at the same degree of the zodiac, directing our attention to a certain area of our lives.
Think about your daily walk in the park. You usually walk at a steady pace every day. One day you stand in a certain place; maybe your phone rings or you're waiting for your dog.
And since you have stopped, you begin to pay attention to your surroundings. Notice a particular building, or a tree, or someone sitting on a bench - things you wouldn't normally notice.
This is exactly how a planetary station works.
A Saturn station at 7° Pisces will draw your attention to a particular topic related to your natal house in Pisces, OR, if you also have planets around 7° Pisces (or around 7° in other signs), the Saturn station will become especially relevant.
June 18, 2023 – New Moon in Gemini
On June 18, 2023, we have aNew Moon at 26° Gemini. The New Moon is in a square with Neptune (at 27° Pisces). Ruler of the New Moon, Mercury is strong in the house and sextile of Venus in Leo.
This New Moon in Gemini may come with developments that may leave us perplexed - something like "How did I not see that coming?".
But every change in circumstances is an opportunity. Something better will come to you IF you let go of unrealistic expectations, change your perspective and pay attention to the here and now.
June 19, 2023 – Jupiter sextile Saturn
On June 19, 2023Jupiter(7° Touro)is sextile saturn(7. Pisces). Jupiter sextile Saturn is one of the best transits of the season.
This sextile is particularly important because it is the first aspect of the famous Jupiter-Saturn cycle that began in December 2020 at 0° Aquarius. In 2020, watercress seeds were planted.
However, when we have a conjunction, we don't necessarily see something concrete happening. Conjunction is like a dark new moon - thingthey areis happening in the background, but we may not yet be aware of what is happening.
Now with the sextile, things will fall into place. A specific opportunity will arise.
June 21, 2023 - The Sun enters Cancer
On June 21, 2023The Sun enters Cancer. Congratulations to all Cancers!
When the Sun enters Cancer, we have the summer solstice in the northern hemisphere and the winter solstice in the southern hemisphere.
No matter where you live, June 21 is one of the most important days of the year. The sun is at its highest or lowest point in the sky. This marks the point of culmination—the point of "no return." We either have the longest day or the longest night of the year.
Things will change. Our priorities can change. On this magical day, tune in and reflect on where you are at the crossroads of your life. The universe will guide you to the next course of action.
June 26, 2023 – Mercury enters Cancer
On June 26, 2023Mercury enters the sign of Cancer. At the end of June, Mercury joins the Sun in the sign of Cancer. Mercury in Cancer brings emotional sensitivity to our communication.
We spare no words just right, left and center. What we say means something. Ruled by the Moon, Cancer isn't just our emotions: it's our guts. Mercury in Cancer invites us to trust our instincts and rely on emotional intelligence to make decisions.
June 2023 is the right month!
