Si estás pensando en sacar o cambiar tu permiso de conducir, debes tener en cuenta que las normas de las pruebas prácticas han cambiado. El examen de manejo no comercial lo lleva a un curso que le permite a la MVA evaluar su control del vehículo. Primero, para probar las habilidades básicas de control, debe mostrar qué tan bien puede navegar por los objetos. Es importante que en cada ejercicio demuestres cómo lo harías si estuvieras conduciendo por una vía pública. Ganas puntos negativos por:

Cuando el Oficial de Licencias de Conducir (DLA) del Departamento de Transporte Motorizado (MDOT) del Departamento de Transporte de Maryland levanta la mano, debe detener el automóvil, estacionar y esperar sus instrucciones.
El agente de prueba le dará instrucciones desde el exterior del vehículo. La ejecución exitosa de cada maniobra dentro del límite de tiempo establecido por ella resultará en la aprobación del examen práctico. Si no aprueba el examen, deberá volver a tomarlo y programar su cita una vez que apruebe el examen reprobado.
SOLICITUD
Para la prueba, debe conducir un automóvil que cumpla con los estándares pertinentes y tener un seguro para ello. Además, los cambios a esta prueba requieren que los clientes que poseen un vehículo con ventanas muy oscuras (algún tipo de tinte) completen la prueba con las ventanas bajadas.

Los requisitos que pide la MVA para tomar la prueba incluyen:

NOTA: Se evaluarán sus habilidades de marcha atrás, habilidades de visión, manejo del espacio, uso de espejos y señales de giro, dirección, frenado, control del acelerador y habilidades generales de conducción.
Prácticas generales de gestión
Se evaluará su habilidad en las prácticas generales involucradas en la conducción para determinar si es elegible para obtener su licencia de conducir. Debe obedecer todas las leyes y señales de tráfico aplicables de Maryland.
